How A Job Works, From First Call To Final Check
For a new install, it starts with a phone call or the form, and a free visit to the house. We look at the rooms, the panel and where the outdoor unit can go, then send a written quote that names the equipment and the rebates it may earn. If you are claiming a rebate, book the Efficiency Nova Scotia assessment before the work, and apply for the Moderate Income Rebate first if you may qualify. On install day the crew protects the house, installs and tests the system, and shows you how to run it. Cleanings and repairs are simpler: call, book a time and the technician comes to you.

Rebates That Apply Across Every Service
As of October 30, 2026, three Nova Scotia programs can help pay for a heat pump. The Efficiency Nova Scotia Home Energy Assessment pays $300 a ton for ductless and $500 a ton for centrally ducted heat pumps, up to $5,000 per home, after a $199 assessment. The Moderate Income Rebate adds up to $5,000 more, for up to $10,000 combined, for income-qualified owners whose main heat is not electric. HomeWarming covers upgrades for lower-income households. The National Heat Pump Rebate opens in early 2027 for eligible installs from November 1, 2026. Cleanings and repairs are not covered by any of these.
